Chipmunks

Today's nature calendar task:

The chipmunk comes forth from his burrow.

We don't usually see chipmunks in our area. We tend to see them on camping trips. I have vague recollections of seeing them at the zoo (just running around, not in cages). We will keep our eyes out when we are there next.

Update: first chipmunk seen on April 9th.
