Today's nature calendar task:
Our orchard friend, the bluebird, settles in the new home.
Our bluebird house has been available for occupation for 5 whole days. No one has moved in yet. Our postage-stamp size backyard is also missing an orchard.
I suspect that a starling will probably move in this spring. We have had starlings nest in several unwanted locations in our house. It will be a lot of fun to watch if any bird moves in to our bird house.
